Holly Stuart Home began one day when I realized that dressing the table could be just as fun as planning the meal.

For the past 15 years, HSH has had the honor of helping clients create beautiful tablescapes for both special celebrations and everyday dining.

Today, Holly Stuart Home continues to draw inspiration from timeless patterns of the past, while embracing fresh ideas and trends from the current marketplace. Our designs are rooted in tradition, but always created with a modern, colorful spirit.

While we will continue to offer table linens, they are taking on a fresh new look. Our first love has always been block-printed fabric, and now we are bringing that love to life in an even bigger way. Our scalloped placemats will be block printed on linen-cotton fabric in India and, of course, will be two-sided. We will also be introducing new patterns for our beloved mahjong tablecloths, along with tea towels and coordinating printed napkins.

As many of you know, we are spending this year in Italy and France. Now, almost six months in, we can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. This time abroad has opened the door to new inspiration, new ideas, and new creative opportunities for both my husband and me. Stay tuned — exciting new products are coming very soon!

Living in southern Europe has also reminded me of the importance of sun protection. Most days call for SPF and a great hat. After searching online, I found so many hats with oversized logos, high prices, or both. So, being the creative spirit that I am, I decided to design my own.

We are currently in Lucca and leave tomorrow for Montegabbione for two days, followed by Rome, Amalfi, Puglia, and southern France later this summer.
